A 41-year-old is imprisoned for life for the murder of a woman.
An early release after 15 years is largely excluded - according to a spokeswoman, the district court in Hanau in Hesse determined the particular severity of the guilt.
According to the court, the defendant stabbed the sleeping woman 25 times with a knife in July 2020.
With the judgment, the criminal chamber followed the pleading of the public prosecutor's office.
The defense had called for a manslaughter conviction in a minor case.
According to the verdict, the man had met the woman through a dating portal on the Internet.
According to the court, he murdered her in her home to get her car.
He later sold this for 4,000 euros to impress another woman.
