(ANSA) - TRIESTE, 03 NOV - "Let's wait for the times: today it still seems premature" to name possible candidates for the Presidency of the Republic.
"There are very extensive discussions taking place. Out of respect for President Mattarella and whoever will succeed him, I think it is necessary to name them at the right time".
This was stated by the president of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, answering a question about the election of the next president of the Republic in Redipuglia.
A possible Mattarella bis?
"In the meantime, we see the proposals, after which it is decided, because I have never liked being the full president of the Republic", he added.
