The Kempinski hotel chain is also coming to Israel: The David Kempinski Hotel in Tel Aviv will open in February 2022 at 51 Hayarkon Street, and will be the 80th hotel opened by the oldest hotel chain in Europe and the first in Israel.
The hotel is located in a 34-storey skyscraper with 250 rooms with floor-to-ceiling sliding windows with direct sea views. The global Kempinski chain recently announced that David Kempinski Tel Aviv will be the chain's flagship hotel for the next decade. Room rates start at $ 550 per room.

The hotel was designed by Fagin Architects, and the interior design was entrusted to Ara Design. Of the rooms, the hotel will offer 56 suites, the most prominent of which is the "David Penthouse", the largest triplex-penthouse suite in Tel Aviv. The suite extends over three levels with a total area of 450 sqm. On the first floor a bedroom (master), private kitchen, study, living room, living area and bathroom with sauna. On the second floor, another bedroom and a gym surrounded by glass windows with a view Panoramic view of the Tel Aviv and Jaffa skyline. On the third floor is an 8-meter infinity pool, next to a variety of seating systems and an outdoor kitchen.
Suite guests will have access to the "Horizon" lounge - located on the 22nd floor. Check-out, concierge services and a food and beverage menu served throughout the day.
Another lounge that will operate in the hotel is the "Rooftop" on the 34th floor which is designed for guests of the hotel's 14 upper suites and will be open during spring, summer and autumn, its exterior boasts a 15-meter swimming pool, relaxation areas with sun beds and a bar restaurant throughout the day.
At night, the lounge will turn into a bar called "Cloud51" from April, which will be integrated into Tel Aviv's wonderful night scene and will be open to the general public.

5 restaurants in the hotel
David Kempinski will join the Tel Aviv culinary scene with 5 new restaurants that will be spread throughout the hotel, each offering a unique atmosphere and style. The Common Bar will operate in the hotel lobby, allowing guests to enjoy a unique collaboration with the Cohiba Atmosphere cigar brand and the Macallan whiskey brand. A meat menu will be offered on site. Chef Mor Cohen, former chef of the Herbert Samuel Hachshara restaurant, who won the award for best gourmet gourmet restaurant in the world, has been appointed head of the hotel. Chef Omri Magal will manage the culinary program for private events at the hotel.
In addition to the entertainment and culinary offerings, the hotel will include a full-service spa with 11 treatment rooms, a fully equipped gym, a sauna and a relaxation area.
The hotel is managed by Guy Kleiman, who has 30 years of experience in the hotel industry in Israel and around the world.
In his last position, he served as the general manager of the Rich Carlton Hotel in Herzliya and before that he managed the Waldorf Astoria Hotel in Jerusalem.
"Already today, even before we officially opened the reservation center, we are inundated with inquiries from tourists interested in coming to us during 2022," he says.
The Kempinski hotel chain was founded in 1897 and is the oldest luxury hotel group in Europe.
The chain currently operates 79 five-star hotels in 34 countries around the world.
