In Italy there are almost 1 million (953 thousand), 1 out of 7 adolescents in the 10 to 19 age bracket. Yet there is still little talk of psychosocial well-being and mental health, also due to the stigma that weighs on these issues. The COVID-19 pandemic has aggravated the scenario, placing adolescents in front of new difficulties and challenges and increasing the gap between the problems detected and the possibility of accessing quality services. This is the topic addressed during the next UNICEF Activate Talk, the format designed to give a voice to adolescents and young people, and to compare them with institutions, civil society organizations and the private sector. The Activate Talk entitled "The World within me" will give voice to the young Alessia, Honoré, Gloria, Samuele, Mussogbè and Hadja, who will tell us their experiences and their vision on the role not only of specialized support services, but also of psychosocial, psychoeducational and pedagogical interventions, fundamental for the well-being of girls and boys. With them, UNICEF will address the issue of stigma, prevention and access to services, trying to highlight existing good practices. Greetings from the Minister of Health, the Honorable Roberto Speranza. Moderated by Ronke Oluwadare, systemic psychotherapist. More information on https://www.activatetalksitalia.com/activate-talk-8-2021 The event will be streamed on November 4th at 4.30 pm on these channels and on the UNICEF facebook page https: //www.facebook .com / events / 1040855206728086fundamental for the well-being of girls and boys.
