Pope Francis' third trip abroad this year, after those to Iraq (March 5-8) and to Budapest and Slovakia (September 12-15), will be in Cyprus and Greece, where the Pope will go from 2 to 6 December next.
The director of the Vatican Press Office, Matteo Bruni, reported today: "As announced, Pope Francis will travel to Cyprus from 2 to 4 December next, visiting the city of Nicosia, and to Greece from 4 to 6 December, visiting Athens and the the island of Lesvos. The Holy Father will travel to the countries at the invitation of the local civil and ecclesiastical authorities. The travel program will be published in due course ".
