The number of hospitalizations, critical care admissions and deaths is on the rise this Saturday, further marking the end of the decline

The Prime Minister repeated it again, on the occasion of a trip to Haute-Savoie: "The epidemic is not over," he hammered on Saturday, to justify the imposition of the mask in queues and cable cars in the ski resort.

Jean Castex even reserves the right to impose the health pass, if the national incidence of Covid-19 cases exceeds 200 per 100,000 inhabitants.

One way to prepare for the winter season, while the epidemic is still showing signs of a rebound, according to the latest figures published by Public Health France.

Indeed, 6,667 people are hospitalized today due to the coronavirus, against 6,735 the day before and especially 6,524 last week, or 143 more in 7 days.

Hospitals have therefore recorded 190 new hospitalizations in 24 hours, against 176 seven days ago.

In critical care, 1,099 Covid-19 patients have been identified, against 1,039 a week ago.

There were 55 new admissions in 24 hours, in these services reserved for the most seriously affected people.

25 deaths from Covid-19 infection were identified in hospitals this Saturday, compared to 22 last Saturday.

The figures published at the weekend are often underestimated due to partial feedback of data from hospital structures.
