(ANSA) - LECCO, 06 NOV - A 25-year-old mountaineer from the province of Milan fell during the climb towards the Grignetta peak, in the Lecco area, suffering severe trauma.
Ilgiovane was rescued and was taken by helicopter rescue to the Manzoni hospital in Lecco where he died shortly after hospitalization.
The young man was traveling along the "Direttissima" which leads to the summit of the southern Grigna, when he fell for some tens of meters in the area of Caminetto Pagani.
