(ANSA) - TURIN, 06 NOV - The banners of the Green Cross and the Red Cross, together with a moved crowd welcomed the coffin of Massimo Melis, the 52-year-old murdered on Halloween night in via Gottardo in Turin, in the church of Sant'Antonioda Padua, in the center.
In the churchyard to welcome mother Rosaria and Massimo's sister there is also Don Nicholas together with the brothers of the convent where as a child Melis was an altar boy.
"Pain without anger and without resentment, with feelings of love and mercy now we ask the Lord to give strength to Massimo's family," said Father Nicholas, who knows the family well.
"This week has been a week of tears, how can you not cry for Massimo", the pastor said from the altar at the beginning of the service.
