American Prometheus: The Triumph and Tragedy of J. Robert Oppenheimer

The story traces the path of the physicist, scientific director of the Manhattan Project, the program which developed the atomic tools responsible for the destruction of Hiroshima and Nagasaki on August 6 and 9, 1945.
