This eight-page, ad-free weekly newsmagazine is financially supported by Czech billionaire Daniel Kretinsky, founder and director of the Czech Media Invest (CMI) press group

He advances about 1 million euros.
The businessman, also a shareholder of the Le Monde group and more recently of TF1, has been planning since the spring on the launch of a new political weekly at CMI France.
On newsstands on November 17, the first issue of
Franc-tireur
, sold for two euros, will be printed in some 160,000 copies.
