Recipe for homemade speculoos cream
Put the speculoos in a universal food processor or blender and finely grind all of the biscuits.
Heat the condensed milk together with the sugar and butter in a saucepan and stir everything until smooth.
Now add the spices - cinnamon, speculoos, salt - and the speculoos crumbs and stir everything until smooth.
Pour the hot speculoos cream into a sterile screw-top or clip-on jar.
To sterilize, boil the jar including the lid in water for 10 minutes and allow both to drain on a clean tea towel.
The wonderfully sweet spread is ready.
By the way, also a great
present for Santa Claus or for Christmas!
If left cold, the spread will keep for about 6 weeks.
