(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 08 - Almost three months after the Taliban took power, secondary and high schools have also been open for girls in the province of Herat alone, in western Afghanistan.

This was reported by Tolo News, citing information released by a local association of teachers.

The return to class, according to the same source, would concern 5milastudentesse from the seventh to the twelfth year of the course.

In the rest of the country, on the other hand, only primary schools remain open for pupils.
