Where are we in Italy with the implementation of the blockchain?
From a simple tech enabler, as we have always considered it, the blockchain has now evolved to the point of becoming an innovative tool capable of generating new business models.
The theme will be at the center of the EY Blockchain Summit, which will take place in Rome on November 9th, starting at 10:00 and will be broadcast in live streaming on Ansa.it.
The meeting will be an opportunity to learn more about this still little known technology, but ideal for companies that want to grow and transform their business, to keep up with the changes we are experiencing. From traceability to the management of decentralized businesses capable of reshaping industrial supply chains, up to new methods of financing: blockchain technology is able to do all this with undoubted advantages for companies, but today it is still little exploited.
At the opening of the proceedings, entrusted to Giuseppe Perrone, EY EMEIA Blockchain Leader, and Paul Brody, EY Global Blockchain Leader, will be followed by the interventions of representatives from the world of companies and institutions, who will discuss the optimization of supply chains through the blockchain , on the opportunities offered by NFTs, i.e. the tokenization of components and products that flow through supply chains, and on the self-sovreign identity and advantages of this technology for public administrations and citizens.
