(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 08 - Following the agreement between the Pakistani government and the party of Sunni extremists (Tlp), Pakistani Information Minister Chaudhary Fawad Hussain has announced that a "complete ceasefire" has been reached with the party of the Pakistani Taliban Tehrik and Taliban Pakistan (TTP).
"Negotiations are taking place in accordance with Pakistan's constitution; both sides have agreed to stop the fire, which will be extended over time," Fawad Chaudhary said at a press conference.
"The interim government of the Afghan Taliban is acting as mediator in the talks," he added.
