The Giro d'Italia cycling edition number 105, which will start from Hungary on Friday 6 May 2022 (the epilogue in Verona on the 29th of the same month), includes seven stages suitable for sprinters.
The fractions were presented today by the organizers of RCS Sport-La Gazzetta dello Sport.
The first two stages will be held in Hungary, the others on the Italian territory.
In Magyar land, the first will connect Budapest to Visegrad (195 km) and the second Kaposvar to Balatonfuered (201 km).
First appointment in Italy with the 172 km long Catania-Messina;
we will continue with the Palmi Calabro-Scalea (Riviera dei cedri) of 192 km;
then it will be the turn of the Sant'Arcangelo di Romagna-Reggio Emilia of 201 km;
finally to Sanremo-Cuneo of 157 km and to Borgo Valsugana-Treviso of 146 km.
