NEW YORK - From 8 November one of the most popular destinations for those who love to travel is gradually reopening its doors to foreign tourism: the United States of America.
Although they remain in force
restrictions and controls to ensure the health and safety of people, this is the perfect time to plan a trip overseas. That's why Musement, the digital platform for discovering and booking travel experiences around the world, has developed a map to find out which are the most popular tourist attractions in each of the fifty United States of America. Around 5,000 tourist attractions were considered to conduct the analysis. For each state, the attraction with the most reviews on Google was considered the most popular. The result is an interesting insight into each of the North American states, a source of inspiration for planning a trip to the States that offers attractions for all tastes and needs.
From north to south, from coast to coast, the USA has an astonishingly rich landscape.
Furthermore, each state has unique, peculiar characteristics and a well-defined cultural background.
This is why the variety of the tourist offer is extremely diversified.
It is no surprise to find American National Parks and outdoor activities as the protagonists of the map.
From large parks such as the Grand Canyon National Park (Arizona) to the urban oasis of Central Park (New York), to lesser-known natural areas, especially abroad, such as Black Water Falls State Park (West Virginia) or the Gulf Island National Seashore in Mississippi, with its beautiful beaches.
There are ten states that have given their preference to theme parks and amusement parks, one of the most exciting proposals in the country, with settings and attractions that are hard to match.
Disney theme parks win in Florida (Walt Disney World) and California (Disneyland Park).
But we also find Busch Gardens Williamsburg in Virginia, themed Europe and considered one of the most beautiful theme parks in the world, or Hersheypark in Pennsylvania, entirely dedicated to chocolate.
