Actor Dean Stockwell, who played Al in the "Quantum Code" series, is dead

The former actor was 85 years old.

Dean Stockwell, known to the French for his role in "Quantum Code", died Sunday morning, US media reported.

After more than 70 years in the world of cinema, the actor has been found at home, says his family.

He would have died of natural causes.

Born in 1936, Dean Stockwell started his career very early.

At age 7, then becoming a child star, he was playing on Broadway with Frank Sinatra and Gene Kelly.

He won a Special Performance Award at the 1948 Golden Globes, for Elia Kazan's “The Invisible Wall” and in the same year, played a memorable role in “The Green-Haired Boys”, a film about racism by Elia Kazan. Joseph Losey.

In 1984, he appeared in "Paris, Texas" by Wim Wenders and in "Dune" by David Lynch.

Four years later, he was nominated for the Oscar for best supporting role in "Widow but not too much".

Several awards for "Quantum Code"

After countless other roles in films, Dean Stockwell appears in the 1990s, in the role of Al in the series "Quantum Code".

He plays a hologram there, the right arm of Professor Sam Beckett, trapped in time, for five seasons.
