(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 09 - In the complex, Italy shares the European Commission's proposal for the implementation "with the expected flexibility" of the final phase of the Basel 3 package on the new capital requirements for banks.
This was reported by the Minister of Economy, Daniele Franco, during the Ecofin public session, underlining that the Brussels proposal "aims to balance two objectives: to align the EU framework with Basel 3 standards, but also to avoid a significant increase in capital requirements".
