Emmanuel Macron must take stock this evening on the evolution of the Covid-19 epidemic.
If for the moment, the content of his speech has not been broadcast, this speech should notably mention the rebound observed in recent days.
Indeed, according to data published Tuesday evening by Public Health France, 6,951 people are hospitalized due to a Covid-19 infection, against 6,865 the day before and especially 6,680 a week ago.
Hospitals recorded 409 new admissions in 24 hours, up from 416 last week.
In addition, 1,140 people are supported in critical care services because of the coronavirus, against 1,141 the day before and 1,091 a week ago.
In the past 24 hours, 99 patients have entered it, up from 126 last week.
We deplore 49 new deaths this Monday against 75 last Monday.
Almost 3.8 million inhabitants received a booster dose (green curve), of which 3.2 million were at least 65 years old (red).
These 3.2 million represent 55% of inhabitants aged 65 or over and fully vaccinated at least 6 months ago (and therefore eligible).
