Sony's chic, white console is in great demand and has been sold out almost consistently since its release in November 2020.

a suspicious package
that was being sent from Portugal to Sydney.
This should give the impression
that the content contains
a conventional PS5
.
However, upon closer inspection of the interior, the officials found that the console's hardware had been removed and the case was instead filled with a white substance.
The officers later identified this as
1.5 kilograms of cocaine
.
According to official information from the authorities, the drugs were intended for the Australian city of Gold Coast.

Police caught the drug smugglers
In order to find out who the recipients of the parcel are, the police set a trap for them.
They exchanged the cocaine in the PS5 for a dummy
, resealed the package and sent it to the address provided.
According to the police, the package was then picked up by a 48-year-old man who was subsequently arrested.
Two other men were also arrested after house searches found links to drug smuggling.
The three men have to answer in court.
If convicted, they face
