Sea saving bill: ok in the Senate with 220 yes, third reading is needed

Some changes have been made to Palazzo Madama for which a further parliamentary passage is now required for definitive approval (ANSA)


The sea-saving bill was approved by the Senate with 220 votes in favor, no against and 15 abstentions, in the drafting session.

Fratelli d'Italia had announced the abstention in the Chamber. The provision, on the promotion of waste recovery at sea and the circular economy, was approved in Montecitorio on 24 October 2019. Compared to the text of the Chamber, at Palazzo Madama they were some changes have been made for which a further parliamentary passage is now required for final approval.
