The "Squid Game" fans have been waiting for this news: The Netflix hit is getting a second season, according to the series creator.
It was the unexpected hit - both for the streaming service Netflix * and for the "Squid Game" maker Hwang Dong-hyuk himself. But the series from South Korea suddenly went through the roof and catapulted itself into the most successful Netflix series of all time.
The bloody game show premiered on September 17th, and since then it has stubbornly stayed in the Netflix Top 10. The question of when the second season will appear on Netflix arose soon after the first season was released.
Now the fans are getting an answer - at least in part.
