The investigation into the fatal shots during the shooting of the Hollywood film "Rust" is ongoing.
The District Attorney for Santa Fe, New Mexico, has now countered suspicions that the gun fired by Alec Baldwin was deliberately loaded with live ammunition.
Baldwin accidentally shot camerawoman Halyna Hutchins in October.
Prosecutor Mary Carmack-Altwies said in an interview with the TV show "Good Morning America" that the investigators still did not know how live ammunition got on the set of the film "Rust".
The investigations could go on for months.
Last week, Hannah Gutierrez's lawyer, who was responsible for the weapons used on the set of the western film, brought up possible sabotage that could have led to the devastating accident.
“I know some defenders have conspiracy theories and used the word sabotage.
We have no evidence of that, ”said Carmack-Altwies.
When asked whether she thought sabotage was a possible explanation, she answered "no".
Baldwin shot and killed cinematographer Hutchin during a rehearsal on October 21 and wounded director Joel Souza.
The prop weapon used - a real revolver - had apparently been loaded with at least one real cartridge.
More live ammunition was later found on the set.
"We still don't know how these bullets got to the set," said
Carmack-Altwies. "And how they got there will, in my opinion, be one of the most important factors in the prosecution." the case will be further investigated.
The producers of the film had announced that they would conduct their own investigation.
