"If you are over 65 years old, and you took your second dose 6 months ago, you have 5 weeks to carry out your booster, otherwise the health pass will be deactivated," he says.

Concretely, in the case where the second dose was injected 6 months ago, the patient has until "December 15" to receive a booster dose, he specified.
Alerts will remind the importance of this reminder, "there will also be Health Insurance", notes the government spokesperson.
Caregivers targeted by the booster dose
Concerning people between 50 and 64 years old, the recall campaign will begin "from the beginning of December", he recalled.

The spokesperson remains evasive, believing that there "would be a certain logic for this to be the case for other audiences for whom the recall is open but that has not been decided at this stage".

100,000 appointments for a 3rd dose
The day before, Emmanuel Macron had announced that those over 65 will have to have a booster dose from December 15 to keep their health pass.
"The 40% increase in the incidence rate in one week is a warning signal," insisted the head of state, also calling on the unvaccinated to be injected with the serum.
