A sentence of 51 months in prison: this is the request for the prosecution for Jacob Chansley, the conspiratorial 'shaman' of QAnon among the first to attack Capitol Hill wearing a bearskin with horns tattooed on his bare chest.
This is the highest sentence so far proposed for assailants in Congress, the purpose of which was to prevent the certification of Joe Biden's victory in the presidential elections.
"The acts of the accused Chansely, now a notorious criminal, made him the public face of the assault on the Capitol," prosecutors write.
