China: + 13.5% production prices in October, all-time highs

Producer prices in China jumped 13.5% annually in October, over 12.4% in September and 10.7% expected, reaching new all-time highs at least since October 1996 with the beginning of the collection of data on a consistent basis. (HANDLE)


(ANSA) - BEIJING, NOV 10 - Producer prices in Cinasegnano in October jumped by 13.5% per year, over 12.4% in September and 10.7% expected, reaching new historical highs at least since October 1996 with the beginning of the data collection sub-phase homogeneous.

This is, reported the National Bureau of Statistics, the tenth consecutive month of growth in the wake of the high costs of raw materials, starting with coal.


   Inflation also rises to its highest levels since September 2020 due to the progress of 1.5%, doubling the 0.7% in September, exceeding the 1.4% estimated by analysts.

On a monthly basis, the rise is 0.7%, the highest in the last 9 months.
