Covid-19 in France: 33 new deaths, the number of hospitalized patients increases slightly

More than 1,150 people are supported in critical care services because of the coronavirus, up from 1,096 a week ago.


"We are not done with the pandemic," said the President of the Republic on Tuesday evening.

According to data published Wednesday evening by Public Health France, 6,906 people are hospitalized due to a Covid-19 infection, against 6,851 the day before and 6,764 a week ago.

Hospitals recorded 397 new admissions in 24 hours, up from 447 last week.

In addition, 1,154 people are treated in critical care services because of the coronavirus, against 1,140 the day before and 1,096 a week ago.

In the past 24 hours, 93 patients have entered it, up from 95 last week.

We deplore 33 new deaths on Wednesday.
