(ANSA) - BRUSSELS, NOVEMBER 10 - The EU member states have found an agreement in principle to extend the legal framework of sanctions against Belarus to those who favor the illegal smuggling of migrants into the European Union.
ANSA learns this from European diplomatic sources.
The picture will now have to be filled with a new list of names and entities.
It is being discussed today at the meeting of the ambassadors of the 27. The work from tomorrow will be handled by the Coest (the working group dealing with Eastern Europe and Central Asia).
The starting point for the discussion foresees the registration on the black list of 29 individuals and the Belavia airline.
