In the case of a German scientist killed in Paraguay, the police succeeded in a successful search.
As the newspaper "ABC Color" reports, the investigators have now arrested three suspect Germans.
The head of the homicide division of the National Police, Hugo Grance, told the radio station Monumental that the trio were suspected of having been involved in the crime.
One possible motive is the robbery of valuable old instruments that the victim owned.
In the apartment of the arrested 58-year-old in the city of Areguá, not only firearms but also musical instruments were found that allegedly belonged to the victim, said homicide chief Grance.
The 58-year-old may be the mastermind behind the crime against the scientist and his daughter.
The victims were the archaeologist Bernard von Bredow and his daughter Loreena.
The bodies of the 62-year-old and the 14-year-old girl were discovered in the family home near Areguá, around 30 kilometers southeast of the capital Asunción.
According to the Federal Foreign Office, the incident occurred on October 22nd.
Both victims were shot, said forensic doctor Héctor Meza.
There are indications that Brewdow had previously been tortured.
His daughter was found in a bathtub filled with water, the investigators said.
There are indications that the 14-year-old could have been killed elsewhere.
