A previously lost pop song with the two Beatles musicians George Harrison and Ringo Starr has appeared in Birmingham.
As the British media unanimously report, this is the title »Radhe Shaam«.
The journalist Suresh Joshi wrote it in 1986 for the documentary "East Meets West" - and has now discovered the recording in his apartment.
"Suddenly the lockdown was a blessing," he told the British broadcaster BBC.
The recordings for the song took place in Trident Studios in London.
Since Harrison and Starr recorded the song "Hey Jude" with the Beatles in the same studio at the time, they would have offered to play guitar and drums on "Radhe Shaam".
Backbeats by Ringo Starr, guitar solo by Harrison
The singer Aashish Khan sings in Hindi on the recording, so Ringo Starr's backbeats can be heard in the background.
In between, Harrison reportedly delivers a longer guitar solo.
Journalist Joshi said that he also talked to Harrison about philosophy at the time.
Harrison also told him about disputes in the band: “He said he was the outsider.
He lost his self-confidence. «The Beatles separated in 1987.
So far, "Radhe Shaam" has been played to 100 people in the Beatles Museum in Liverpool.
According to Joshi, a charity publication is also planned.
