Mrs. Concepción was recovering from COVID-19 when one of her daughters made a terrible finding during one of her visits.

The woman was hospitalized on July 19, 2020 for complications related to the coronavirus.
After several weeks of hospitalization, during which she suffered from infections and kidney failure, Concepción was finally able to rid herself of the virus.
However, when her children made the request to transfer her to a rehabilitation center, they claim that the hospital rejected their request without any justification.

For some time, Mrs. Covarrubias's family was only able to see her through video calls.
When they were finally able to visit her, Mijangos says that her brother noticed that something was moving in her nose.
"When he got closer to her little face, he discovered that worms were starting to come out.

said.
A few days after the visit, on August 21, 2020, the woman of Salvadoran origin passed away.

Now, the family has sued South Coast Global Hospital for elder abuse, neglect and causing emotional distress.
The loved ones of Covarrubias remember her as "a very noble person, very charitable, very loved by many, by her family, by her entire neighborhood."
For their part, the legal representatives of the South Coast Global Hospital
declined to comment on the case due to pending litigation.

The pain and indignation of this family has spread since 2020 when their mother was hospitalized for coronavirus and continues with this litigation that will target the administration and medical staff of the hospital.
