After a serious accident at the Astroworld Festival in Houston, Texas, the death toll has now risen to nine. When the rapper Travis Scott appeared, a mass panic had arisen. Scott now asked the victims' families to contact him directly for help. A statement from Scott's team said that families who want help in any way should contact his team through a dedicated email address. Scott had previously offered to pay for the burial of those killed and for psychological care for those affected.

The family and the lawyer of a 22-year-old concert-goer announced on Thursday that she had succumbed to her serious injuries.

According to the police on Wednesday, at least one other person is in critical condition after the serious accident.

According to the police, the investigation could take months.

The investigators question eyewitnesses and evaluate video clips.

Around 50,000 people had attended the music festival in Houston, Texas on Friday night (local time) when people were pressed to death in a tightly packed audience during a performance by Scott.

Two teenagers were among the victims.

Scott and the organizers are accused, among other things, that there were insufficient security measures and that the concert was canceled too late.

They are faced with dozens of lawsuits from injured concert-goers and the surviving dependents of the victims.
