Green light with no conditions, from the EU Antitrust, to the operation of
Cassa Depositi e Prestiti
and the
Australian fund Macquarie
for the acquisition of Enel's stake in Open Fiber.
The text of the decision is not yet available but the register of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Competition has been updated this morning indicating that it is an "unconditional authorization".
The operation will lead Cdp to increase its stake to 60% and Macquarie to acquire 40%.
