Lewis Hamilton set the fastest time in qualifying on Friday and tomorrow he will start in front of everyone in the Sprint Qualifying of the Sao Paulo GP, at the Interlagos circuit.

Second time for Max Verstappen's Red Bull, third for the Mercedes driven by Valtteri Bottas.

Sixth and seventh the Ferraris, with Carlos Sainz ahead of Charles Leclerc.

Due to a change to the internal combustion engine of the Mercedes W12, Lewis Hamilton will start with a five-position penalty on the grid at Sunday's Brazilian Grand Prix.

This was announced by the Stuttgart house in a tweet.

With four races to go until the end of the Formula 1 season, the Briton is chasing Verstappen (Red Bull) 19 points behind in the driver standings.
