(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 13 - The former British Prime Minister TonyBlair believes that the intervention of the current British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is fundamental if not decisive in order to reach an agreement at COP26 in Glasgow.
Speaking to BBC's Newcastle channel, Blair said he was convinced Johnson must use his role as a political leader and conference host to push some of the countries involved to reach a consensus.
"I believe that in the end it will probably take the intervention of the prime minister himself to cross the line - said Blair - and this is difficult to do once many leaders have left" with reference to the fact that the presence of the majority of world leaders does not is expected at the end of the event.
