The scenario:
Berlin at freezing point.
The body of a student who had arranged a sex date with a couple the previous evening via an app is found on an icy body of water.
Karow (Mark Waschke) Rubin (Meret Becker) investigate in an icy Berlin-Mitte setting between people who are willing to engage in any sexual experiment but are unable to establish social connections.
The main suspect is a tyrannical villain who lets his mother (Jule Böwe) clean his apartment, in which he gives free rein to his instincts.
The highlight:
Book visits to swingers clubs, study dating sites, inform ex-one-night stands about sexually transmitted diseases.
In this crime thriller, it is less the sex itself that is shown, but the organization and talking about it.
The sex act as an administrative act has never been seen before.
The picture:
A snowy prison, the main suspect is released from custody, trudges through the snow and looks grim because his mother is not there.
Rubin and Karow watch him from the car.
Rubin sardonically with a prickly ice princess voice: "Yes, nobody is picking up the little one?" Karow gets in with the same voice and croaks: "Yes, where is Mama?"

The song:
"Liebe zu threes" by Stereo Total: The song plays during a karaoke night when the investigative team turns off the lights.
The original is sung by the French musician Françoise Cactus, who lived in Berlin for a long time before her death in February of this year.
In the scene that, after all the dark sex escapades in the crime thriller, Rubin takes over the microphone again to the cheerful aspects of love beyond common sleeping conventions, he shouts in imitation of the unique rock'n'roll chanteuse Cactus: »I love it / love to to do / prefer to push / that's totally out / this is hippie creeps / But I say it out loud: / I love love to push «.
Then it's pitch black, snow-drifted night again.
