In mothers there are difficult moments.

The weight of responsibility, illness, days off from the frameworks, challenging developmental stages of the child and also life itself - all of these can bring any mother, even the calmest or most indifferent, to the edge.

In moments like these, you feel like you're getting out of hand, getting nervous about your child or spouse, and even though you promised yourself that this time you would stay calm - it does not really work.

Lidor Tamir Stone

, who accompanies mothers with attentive and conscious parenting through mindfulness, offers some tips to help you bring more calm into your life, even when it is difficult, so that you can more easily and less survivably impulsively convey the challenging moments:

start the morning calmly

- how to start your day Affects its continuation.

Take a few moments for yourself, start your morning organizations leisurely (even if it means getting up a little before everyone else - it's worth it).

If you connect to meditation you can incorporate it into your morning routine.

Go through the challenging moments calmly and not impulsively - it is possible.

Turn off the autopilot

- usually the reactions towards the children are automatic: the child does something that presses the buttons and you respond directly without thinking about why it activates you, what really upset you, etc.

If you stop for a moment, before the automatic response, and manage to look at the situation with objective eyes, you will usually be able to react more calmly.

Breathe

- If you proactively put in a few minutes to stop and concentrate on your breathing, you will feel more relaxed during the day and respond with a little less anger.

You can count 10 inhalations from the nose and exhalations from the mouth.

Just stopping and focusing on the breath will help you relax.

Be

sure to do things you love

- Moms have a tendency to put themselves after everyone else.

Find time for yourself too, bring into your day things you love and enjoy doing, even if it's just a 15-minute cup of coffee in front of the newspaper.

Focusing on the breath will help you relax.

Finally, show compassion for yourself

- try to reduce the feelings of guilt and pangs of conscience that accompany you every day as mothers.

Be less critical and judgmental (though it is not simple) and be more kind to yourself.

The Jama app was established with the aim of addressing mothers of babies from birth to age three, and centralizing for them content, activities, tips from experts and videos that will accompany them throughout this challenging period.

All the content in the app "grows" together with the baby and is precisely adapted to its developmental stages, so that the mothers receive only what is relevant to them and interests them at any given moment.

The Jama app is the place for mothers in Israel to meet and get to know other mothers around them, and create new and exciting friendships in the fascinating journey.
