(Edited by Gilad Manheim)
How are you progressing at work? How do you build your career? We think about these questions all the time, and do not always find the right answer.
So maybe when it comes to advancing our careers there is no magic we can pull out of the hat, but there are definitely some things that can help us and improve our professional status.
Stand out and
take the initiative:
It is important to stand out and show willingness in the workplace. It helps a lot in networking and a positive image, but of course it is important to make sure to do things wisely and listen to others as well. If you are part of the team, harness them all to work together.
Set goals:
To know what the direction is for the rest of the way, where you want to go and what will help you get there - it is important to set goals and of course, pay attention to the fact that they are realistic.
Think about what skills you need for the next job:
When you take a course or go on to study, think about what you can learn from it for the rest of your career.
Maintain a positive mood at work:
Be sure to be pleasant to the various colleagues and service providers, so that they will want to continue working with you and your company as much as possible.
Look at the big picture and remember your successes: raise your
head and point out points for reference, even if they are not directly related to you.
Usually, those who progress in the workplace are the ones who know how to look at the big picture and plan ahead.
