Thus a group of citizens turned to the Head of State Sergio Mattarella when he left the headquarters of the Toscana life sciences Foundation, at the end of his visit to Siena.
Mattarella, on the occasion of his visit to the Foundation, received as a gift a coat with the signatures of the Tls researchers.
The tribute was given to the Head of State by the president of Tls Fabrizio Landi.
In the headquarters of the Foundation, Mattarella, accompanied by the President of the Tuscany Region Eugenio Giani, the Mayor of Siena Luigi De Mossi and the President of the Province of Siena Silvio Franceschelli, met twelve young researchers and, after having talked with them, listened to a brief presentation of the activities which are carried out in the research center, including that on antibody-monoclonals for the treatment of Covid-19.
The scientist Rino Rappuoli, head of the research group, was also present at the meeting.
