(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 15 - The Procurator of the Republic of Catanzaro Nicola Gratteri is among the eight magistrates who are nominated to succeed Federico Cafiero De Raho at the top of the National Anti-Mafia and Anti-Terrorism Directorate.
In corsaci are also the prosecutors of Naples, Giovanni Melillo, and of Palermo, Francesco Lo Voi. Lo Voi is also at stake for the appointment as prosecutor of Rome, as well as the Pg of Florence MarcelloViola, who like him is at the same time a candidate for the leadership of the national prosecutor anti-mafia.
Among the magistrates who applied to the CSM (the deadlines expired on 11 November last) there are also the prosecutors of Catania, Carmelo Zuccaro, of Messina, Maurizio De Lucia, and of Lecce, Leonardo Leone De Castris.
There is also an internal candidacy for DNA: it is that of Giovanni Russo, currently deputy prosecutor.
