Marvel's Eternals still dominate the weekend box office: the film directed by Oscar winner Chloé Zhao, starring Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie, raised over 1.7 million euros over the weekend, thus touching a 6-dollar loot. 5 million ... (ANSA)


(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 15 - Marvel's Eternals still dominate the weekend box office: the film directed by the Oscar-winning Chloé Zhao, with Salma Hayek and Angelina Jolie, harastretted over 1.7 million euros over the weekend, touching so a loot of 6.5 million in two weeks, according to Cinetel data. Behind the Eternals Zlatan debuts, JensSjörgen's biopic on Ibrahimovic, which in four days reaches almost 1 million in takings. On the third step of the podium another new entry, The French Dispatch, the new film by Wes Anderson inspired by the New Yorker, with 719 thousand euros.


    Another debut in fourth position, Per tutto la vita, dramedy by Paolo Costella with a rich cast ranging from AmbraAngiolini to Fabio Volo, from Claudia Pandolfi to Claudia Gerini, which brings home about 440 thousand euros in four days in the show. Slips from second to fifth position I am BabboNatale, with the latest Gigi Proietti and Marco Giallini: the comedy by Edoardo Falcone collects about 430 thousand euros, exceeding 1.1 million in total receipts. Behind him Freaks out, Gabriele Mainetti's blockbuster with Claudio Santamaria and PietroCastellitto, who loses two positions and is sixth (358,000 euros over the weekend, over 2.1 overall).


    Seventh position in the standings for The Addams 2 Family (it was in third place a week ago, with 345 thousand euros, for a total of over 2.6 million), followed by Madres Paralelas by Pedro Almodovar (with 236 thousand euros, which bring the overall prize of the film to exceed 2 million).


    The man in the dark makes his debut in ninth place, the horror-thriller directed by Rodo Sayagues starring Stephen Lang, sequel to the blockbuster Man in the Dark, with 137 thousand euros.

The top ten is closed by the blockbuster Venom: Carnage's furore, which has to settle for 131 thousand euros (up to 7 million in total).


    Overall, the box office touches 6.3 million euros, discounting an 8% drop compared to last week (6.8 million).
