“I was in the middle of a flight on my way to Abu Dhabi when I heard the news of Etel's death, in the middle of the clouds.
In the Louvre museum in the desert, this closing morning, the cosmic dome weeps tears of light for her.
Etel followed the whole adventure of this pharaonic project, which I often told him about, from its conception to its realization.
We have a great mutual friend Dominique Eddé, writer, who has always known her, as well as Fouad el Khoury, photographer, with whom we did the Venice project.
I met Etel in Paris ten years ago, we are neighbors and we saw regularly.
The exchanges with Etel were always rich, she spoke of everything: philosophy, poetry, politics, religion, architecture, she loved it.
Its culture was immense and its memories countless.
Each meeting was a journey.
