The Kelly Family wants to go on tour together again in 2022. The family had planned a Christmas arena tour in Germany, Austria and Switzerland from November 2022, announced the organizer Semmel Concerts on Tuesday. The title: "The Kelly Family - The Mega Christmas Show". "Kathy, Patricia, Jimmy, John, Joey and Paul will, of course, play many of the band's greatest hits in addition to world-famous Christmas songs," the report said.
Two well-known names are missing: Patrick and Angelo Kelly are therefore not part of the tour.
To this end, Joey's children are to appear as special guests at some shows.
With Angelo and sister Caroline, a joint trip to "important stages in their careers" is planned, which is to be accompanied in a four-part documentary.
The family said they wanted to travel by double-decker bus and houseboat again in an Instagram post.
The members of the Kelly Family rose to superstars in the 1990s with flowing robes, long hair and catchy pop and folk music.
The hits - including "An Angel", "Fell In Love With An Alien", "I Can't Help Myself" - and albums by the extended family were in the charts for weeks.
In the noughties, the band gradually disbanded, and in 2017 six members of the Kelly Family reunited.
In May 2020, Angelo Kelly announced that he was separating from the group again.
The family last toured together in February 2020.
In addition to the new tour, two new Christmas carols have been announced for the end of November this year and will be part of a new Kelly Family Christmas album next year.
The Christmas EP "One More Happy Christmas" will be released on November 26th, as Universal Music announced.
The title track is a new edition of the 1994 Kelly classic "One More Happy Christmas".
