Revenge is best enjoyed cold, even frozen. Control, sense of situations, dialogues on the line (helped in this by her faithful friend Jacques Fieschi), Nicole Garcia is not afraid of being out of fashion. She knows that's how you become classic. She stands there, proud and upright, in the middle of this devastated landscape that is French cinema. Fortunately we have it.
