The Infinity Pool ("Infinity Pool") has just been inaugurated in Dubai and its operators state that it is the tallest in the world, and first photos from the site suggest that it is definitely going to be particularly popular.
The pool, dubbed the Aura Skypool, surrounds the space where it is located 360 degrees and is located 200 meters above the ground, on the 50th floor (out of 52) of the "Palm Tower" on the Palm Island (Palm Jumeira).
Due to its height, the views from the pool are not disturbed by nearby buildings, and they display the Dubai skyline in all its glory.
For example, you can easily identify and get interesting views on well-known buildings, including the Burj Al Arab and the famous Burj Khalifa skyscraper.
The pool, which is 750 m2 in size and next to it a bar and a pampering lounge, guests arrive in dedicated lifts designed just for this purpose.

Two floors above the pool, on the 52nd floor of the tower, is the famous observation deck View at The Palm, which opened last April and offers panoramic views.
The tower itself houses the St Regis Hotel as well as luxury apartments, restaurants and various leisure sites.
"This pool is different from any other destination in the UAE," said Antonio Gonzalez, CEO of Sunset Hospitality, which operates the place.
"With a 360-degree view of some of the most iconic sights, including Palm Island - which marks 20 years since its construction and the famous skyscrapers - it will be a breathtaking destination that will continue to showcase the best of Dubai."

Entrance prices range from 600-170 dirhams (510-145 shekels).
