(ANSA) - ROME, NOVEMBER 17 - An appeal for "the immediate release of United Nations staff members detained in Ethiopia" came from the United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres.
The UN staff, according to Guterres '' are detained without charge and no specific information has been provided on the reasons for their arrest ''.
The United Nations had already reported the arrest of over 1,000 people in Ethiopia in one week.
