The most beautiful projection images in the world attack me from all sides and I sink into autumnal sadness and sail to distant provinces. Districts where the leaves fall off slowly, fly in the wind, land gently on the moist ground and cover it with a spectacular colored carpet. And I I step on them carefully, addicted to the delicate sound of the leaves crackling under my feet and ... Cut! "Hello, wake up, this is not a scene from a romantic movie nor the thick forests of the counties of New England, this is Israel and here the cast is a rare and short-lived play," R. said and shattered my fantasy.

So I went out looking for a dumpster, mostly to prove we have one too. I found the most beautiful of all in Merom Golan, the others I had to look for in hidden forest paths and in the deciduous groves. I came back with some successful locations, chanting "A Red Fall Song, A Song for the Beautiful Land."

With the coming of the dump: 10 recommended destinations for a vacation in the fall

Why and where

on my way to search for the ultimate dump I turned to the electronic friend, Google, to understand how and why the green leaves turn red-orange. It turns out that under the auspices of the shortening days and the extreme temperature changes between day and night, which are not enough for photosynthesis, the green chlorophyll breaks down, the leaf turns yellow and then red - copper. How and why do they turn red? This is still one of the questions that botany researchers have not yet been able to solve.

The deciduous group includes the deciduous family - apple, pear, apricot, plum, almond, peach and fig trees, joined by worm oak, Tabor oak, hawthorn, Syrian pear, Klil Hahoresh, poplar and Eretz Israel. These trees probably “remember” their origins from the snow-cold lands and so even as they grow to glory in Mediterranean areas, they carry the traits from home and shed their leaves as if their roots are still planted deep in the soil of their ancestral ancestors.

According to KKL-JNF forests in the northern region, the beginning of the fall can be seen and in two or three weeks it will reach its peak and full exclusion in the oak forest in Bethlehem in the Galilee, in the Beit Keshet forest and Canada Park on the slopes of the Jerusalem mountains. .

You fell on the plateau, the Golan

The vine trees, the barberry, the smoke, the sugar maple, the Pennsylvania word, the Pissardian plum, the American oak and the growing chestnut, give a spectacular colorful appearance in its beauty, for which it is worth encrypting especially to the Golan Heights. Before falling on them, they change color like a chameleon - from bright green they become shades of brown, gold? Copper, bright orange and fiery red. Once the leaves begin to dry they fall to the ground and cover it with a colorful rug, and the colors of the earth against the background of the black basalt stones enhance the beauty of the northern fall.

In honor of the throwing of tour guides from Merom Golan Guided tours during which you can get to know the deciduous trees, climb among the clouds, awning the summit of Mount Bentel, from an altitude of 1,200 meters to observe Syria, the Golan Heights and Mount Hermon, and sip hot soup at Cafe Kofi Anan. Also in the kibbutz: bicycle tours, ATVs, tomcars and horses, a living area, a wood and iron art studio, a holiday village and a cowboy restaurant.

You fell on the Lebanese border

Throwing in the orchards of Chaimka Hood at the height of its beauty and in order to have enough time and see the apple, pear, peach, jujube and nectarine trees separate from them the tulips, hurry lest you miss the charming spectacle. Jaimka's apples kiss the Lebanese border and the last trees in the orchard are planted two meters from the perimeter fence on the other side of the highway of northern Lebanon and the magnificent villas of the wealthy Beirut, who vacation in the village of Kila.

Haimka leads a tour of the orchards accompanied by stories of history, battle, heritage, agriculture, neighborhoods and friendships with the Lebanese in better days. For a tour, a rich breakfast is served in the manicured garden or in the old family house that has become a restaurant. The tour passes through the streets of the colony, in the fall orchards, ascends to the lookouts Shai and Rotem, overlooks the biblical city "Abel Beit Ma'akah" and climbs to Mitzpe Dado at the tip of the Galilee finger. Below is the green Hula Valley, dotted with the colors of the hundreds of orchards that stand in the fall.

The deciduous trees are waiting for you.

Deciduous and falling, Jordan River

Hundreds of glorious orchards grow along the Jordan River.

Twice a year the orchards are an attractive attraction for the masses - in spring - with their impressive blooms in shades of pink and white, and in autumn - with the onset of fall that will peak during the month, then the leaves will blush, fall to the ground and color it yellow-brown-red.

If you are equipped with a 4X4 vehicle you will see the fallout in the almond, peach, plum, pear and nectarine plantations in the southern part of the Hula Valley and along the eastern canal of the Jordan.

The route begins with a descent from the traffic jam bridge to the white dirt road, with the Jordan flowing to the right and the orchards to the left.

If you go deeper into the trip against the current, you will meet an artificial muffin, an old flour mill and an officers' pool on the lower route of Nahal Gilbon.

Across the creek will be dozens of acres of almond groves that have begun their dumping show.

If you continue along the river to the Gonen meadow, you will see the fall of the rare polyana trees, which were originally planted to make popsicle sticks.

You can also make your way to the orchards on foot, after leaving the vehicle on the descent from the bridge and walking for about an hour in each direction.

Getting there:

From Highway 918, cross the traffic jam bridge and immediately descend left onto the dirt road

Ella and Tana, Safed

The Azure Valley Park in Safed covers 580 dunams of orchards, springs, pools of ducks and deer, chamois and fertilizers that roam the area.

The Nahal Birya channel crosses the park and the view of the Meron Mountains is huge and Hiram is visible from every direction.

JNF has prepared the ground shaded seating areas, an observation deck and walkways - one circular length of 2 km, 4.5 km-long second lower part is designed as best so far.

Park fig trees grow old and those, who are in the midst of going and return to bloom in March, alongside Dummi flowers, milk hawk, kahwan and orchids.

The garden of Oranim College is one of the most beautiful botanical gardens in the country, planted in 1958 as an acclimatization plot for trees brought from around the world (what is called in the professional language Arboretum). The garden covers 40 dunams and around the acclimatization plot is a glorious garden plant, with 900 species of trees and plants. The walk for the garden is easy and relaxing, but if you want to get to know each and every tree, book a guided tour. The uniqueness of the garden is also for the first biomimicry (bio-life, mimicry-imitation) in the country that also holds the title of the second trail in the world after the trail in Montana in the USA.

The garden overlooks the Carmel and the Zebulon Valley and is a green lung in the heart of the campus, which serves as a site for research on nature and the environment, a place to clear thrash during exams or just flirt in its romantic locations.

And if we are dealing with romance, then the casting only benefits her and glorifies her beauty.

The shedding is not yet in the dimensions of total baldness, but according to the caregivers, the plane trees, ezdrat, goddess, pomegranate, Tabor oak and southern mayopy, are already shedding their green cover.

In addition, on the last Saturday of each month, a bird drowning garden is held in the garden.

Give love to trees.

Ilan and Ilanot, Hasharon

At the beginning of July, the forest of trees in the heart of the Sharon was declared a forest botanical garden. The garden was established in the 1950s and served as an arboretum for about 750 species of trees, collected around the world and planted in special plots adapted to the geographical areas from which they came. The magical forest (yes, the title deserves it) is an interactive botanical garden and the walk in it is an experience for nature lovers and an opportunity to get to know strange trees with a fascinating exotic look. In the garden, there are regulated paths, signs with their names were hung on the trees, and benches were set up along the way to relax.

Also in the forest: a maze of trees, the "Casuarinas Circle", the engagement path, playgrounds, picnic tables (without barbecues) and interactive play via the mobile that scans the questions in the QR code displayed on the signs scattered in the garden.

When?

All week, from 08:00 until sunset.

Remember November, the humiliation

The road to the observation of the Shafir Valley passes through the fields of Philistia and through the coops.

To the right of the agricultural path, he passed to all the vehicles, the artichoke fields and ornamental flowers, to the left the apple orchards, peaches, persimmons and pomegranates that are at the beginning of their colorful shedding.

The orchard path leads to a hill at the foot of which flows the Nahal Lachish, behind the vineyard passes Nahal Guvrin and both connect to the Negba-Ein Tzurim reservoir, which can be seen in the distance.

The panorama extends north to Tel Tzafit, east to Kiryat Gat and south to Givat Tom and Tomer in Kibbutz Negba, Ashdod, Ashkelon and as far as Gaza.

Arrival:

1. From the entrance to Moshav Zarhiya (on Saturday the gate is closed).

From road 3, turn to Moshav Shafir, cross it and about 300 meters after the last house, turn left according to the signs.
