In North Rhine-Westphalia, the police have a very young driver to do: A witness stopped an eleven-year-old in his parents' vehicle in Werther, the police in Gütersloh said.
Accordingly, the eleven-year-old stole his parents' car key on Saturday evening.
There was also an eleven-year-old in the passenger seat.
On the way, the two met the witness in his car.
Since the lane was very narrow at the point, the boy asked the man by flashing the headlights to make room.
As the police drove by, the man was amazed at the very young driver and called the police.
The officers initiated criminal proceedings, which, according to a police spokesman, are directed "among other things against the parents."
The boy himself is not yet of criminal age.
The two children were then taken home.
