All the taxi drivers' unions have called a general strike for Wednesday 24 November.
The protest will culminate with a march in Rome in which taxi drivers from all over Italy will participate.
It is the first strike 2.0: arriving at Termini station a large banner will be posted at the taxi stand with a QRcode on it which, once framed, will explain the reasons for the strike.
First of all, the fight against the competition bill which according to taxi drivers will further deregulate the sector in favor of multinationals.
A flyer will be posted in all taxis, the same one that will be read by framing the QR code, in which it says: "Strike because I defend my work from those who would like to destroy the public service, 40,000 businesses and 40,000 families; strike because I want continue to guarantee you a certain, visible, administered rate; strike so that you do not fall prey to a cold price multiplier that doubles, triples, depending on the request for rides; strike because like you, I'm tired of paying the taxes that evade multinationals; strike because I want certain rules for everyone and not a jungle in which the smartest or the most thief wins; strike because like you, I sacrifice every moment to give dreams and a dignified future to my family. with multinationals ".
