Almost 120 million screens in Italian homes

Auditel-Censis report: 'There is an average of five screens per family; boom in the audience of linear and streaming TV '(ANSA)


The screens inside the houses are 119 million and 400 thousand (+ 6.2% in the last two years), with an average of 5 screens for each family.

Connected families are 90.2% of the total (+ 3.6% from 2019).

And those who have both a fixed and mobile connection are 59.4% (+ 6.2%).

This is what emerges from the fourth Auditel-Censis Report, entitled "Multiscreen Italy: from Smart TV to the screen in your pocket, this is how the country runs towards digital", presented to the Senate. 



The audience figures certify an increase in audience and time dedicated to watching linear and streaming TV.

In 2020 about 7.3 million Italians over 4 years old (12.5% ​​of the total; in 2019 they were less than 6 million, there is a + 24.6%) watched television programs on the Internet. aired simultaneously on linear TV and 4.2 million have done so using the smartphone.
